Salade Ni├žoise, in all its glorious controversy, alongside Moules Frites–what could be more “South of France” than that? Leeks, shallots, garlic, white wine, and butter create a sumptuous sauce to gently steam mussels, enhancing the broth into the perfect dip for handmade French fries. We’ll have Lemon Lavender Macarons to completely transport you to the rolling fields of lavender punctuated by pert lemon trees, dotting the southern coast of France.
