FAQ
- Do you travel?
- We have done classes at other people’s houses before, of course, but only host classes at our venue now. It’s such a schlep and we’ve already got the perfect, fully-stocked space for what we do!
- How do I get there and where can I park?
- Our address is 1610 Chatham Avenue, Austin, TX 78723. There is street parking on Chatham Ave. There is plenty of parking available across the street at Harris Elementary. The location is also a 2 minute walk from CapMetro bus stop 6001 on Berkman/Briarcliff.
- What do I bring and what should I wear?
- Clothing that you are comfortable wearing to cook in (bulky sleeves and heavy jewelry can be cumbersome). Shoes that are closed-toed and comfortable to stand in for the duration of the class are also recommended.
- Aprons will not be provided, so please bring your own if you would like.
- All cooking classes are BYOB. More information below!
- Do you sell gift certificates?
- Yes! Check out this page.
- Are the classes private?
- Unless you specifically booked a private class, no, our classes are public and may have up to 20 guests.
- A private class with a minimum of 8 people can be requested based on availability. A deposit is required to reserve a class as private.
- Can my kid come?
- Yes! Kids aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult chaperone but all are welcome.
- We don’t have kids prices currently!
- What about drinks?

- Payment is required in full at the time of booking. We offer payment via credit card or PayPal.
- Tipping is not required but greatly appreciated! Tips via Venmo are perfect: find our venmo handles here.
- Why was my reservation rescheduled?
- We will make every attempt to accommodate reservations of 2 or fewer guests, but when total class attendance is less than 4, we may reach out to reschedule your reservation or offer you a refund.
- Can I reschedule or get a refund?
- All private bookings must be rescheduled at least two weeks in advance of class date, or are subject to 25% total event cost due.
